I am amazed at how AGAIN Disney accommodates those who are a bit out of the ordinary. Disney has time and time again gone above and beyond to "be our guest, be our guest". They bring this to life with the great options all over each park and resorts!! Ethos Vegan Kitchen (website above)-- one of the best vegan restaurants I've been to!
2. Cafe 118 http://www.cafe118.com/ Raw, vegan. Great food, but expensive.
3. Loving Hut http://www.lovinghut.us/florida/ All vegan.. mix of difference cuisines.. great food, not very expensive, but lots of fried foods so not entirely reduced fat.
4. Pizza Fusion which has recently closed in Orlando, but is still open in other locations in the US, has good vegan pizzas and organic at that. Last I ate there they only had Follow Your Heart cheese (which is fine) but I would prefer they use Daiya cheese now that it's available :)rrego@nova.edunoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9013881516469238479.post-4980497454551086252011-03-25T02:51:01.464-04:002011-03-25T02:51:01.464-04:00Awesome blog and great descriptions! I only ate offsite at Ethos Vegan Kitchen (great by the way), Whole Foods and Cafe 118. Any idea if these same options still exist at WDW? Especially Chef T.J.'s vegan feast! I recently became vegan and wasn't sure where I would be able to eat on my next trip. Your post was extremely helpful. That being said, regarding the meal at Sunshine Seasons, assuming the sandwich was made w/ actual Cuban bread (it looks that way from the picture) it is neither vegan nor vegetarian unfortunately, as Cuban bread contains lard.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9013881516469238479.post-52293011422405874192011-01-28T19:28:35.399-05:002011-01-28T19:28:35.399-05:00thanks for posting this! i've been wanting to ...thanks for posting this! i've been wanting to get up to disney for a while (i live in southfl) and this is definitely motivating & enlightening. i figured i was going to have to smuggle in food! ; )Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9013881516469238479.post-91094398910342196062010-06-15T22:23:22.963-04:002010-06-15T22:23:22.963-04:00I visited Disney years ago as a vegetarian and sub...I visited Disney years ago as a vegetarian and subsisted on french fries and Mickey ice cream sandwiches; now a ten year vegan, I had no idea that we could expect to be treated so well there these days.

Your meals courtesy of Chef TJ would be considered epic anywhere, and you really did them justice in your post. Usually breakfast is a bagel I eat in my hotel room that I brought from home, and lunch and dinner is seeking our veggie burgers. Last time I did try vegan burritos at El Pirata and that was a nice change! I can't believe they have Tofutti at some places, and that they'll make vegan waffles!!! Soooo excited. I'm going next year with my vegan husband and my non-vegan mother so this should make things a lot easier for us to pick restaurants.
