More WDW Vegan Info

I've already found some new and exciting facts as I've been making our reservations and speaking to chefs for our upcoming trip.

For instance, this is (the vegan) part of a list sent to me by Disney after I contacted their allergy/dietary email, listing a number of vegan-friendly products that they have available throughout the parks.

Bob’s Red Mill – Gluten-Free Mixes

Pancake, Brownie, All-purpose baking mix

Divvies – made with NO milk, eggs, peanut, or tree nuts

Chocolate Chip Cookies, Caramel Popcorn, Jellybeans (Jellybeans contain beeswax, not vegan)

Earth Balance

Ener-G Foods – product does not contain wheat/gluten, milk, eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts

Egg Replacer; Tapioca Hotdog, Hamburger, & Dinner Roll, Brown Rice Sliced Bread, Rice Pizza Shell

Enjoy Life – no dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, gluten, soy, eggs, fish and shellfish – also made without casein, potato, sesame and sulfites

Chocolate Bar/Dark, Boom Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Rice Crispy Chocolate Bar

Follow Your Heart – cheese

Mozzarella – VEGAN Cheese

Gluten-Free Kneads

Frozen Chocolate, Cinnamon, Lemon Cookies (Baked in Specific Locations) Vegan

Namaste Foods

Pancake & Waffle Mix and Cake Mix

Pacific Natural Foods

Rice Milk

Rice Dream

Silk Soy Milk

Plain, Vanilla, and Chocolate

Silk Soy Yogurts

Banana/strawberry, Peach, Plain

American Soy Cheese, Sour Cream, Cream Cheese, Tofutti Cuties, Vanilla and Chocolate Frozen Dessert

Brown Rice Pasta, Elbow Pasta, Brown Rice Spaghetti

You will need to ask the chefs ahead of time for some of these, because they aren't all available in every location*, but they will do their best to get what they can for you. Again, start your phone calls to the chefs at least two weeks before your arrival date.

*In fact, a chef at Wolfgang Puck Express in Disney's West Side is trying to get me the Follow Your Heart cheese for my pizza! He had no idea they carried such a thing, but he's looking into it.

I'll be sure to let everyone know how it turns out!

Returning to WDW

I know I've been completely inactive post-wise lately, but thankfully I should have a bunch of new material to write about soon.

We're set to go back to Disney World in a couple weeks. If anyone has any vegan-related questions or anything they would like me to check into while I'm down there, please let me know. I'll do my best to find the answers for you.

Until then!
